Police say Goshen man collected $6,900 in unemployment benefits while employed

John Schmidlein, 28, was charged with felony grand larceny. State police said a joint investigation with the Department of Labor determined he received $6,900 in unemployment benefits between Jan. 16, 2012, and Nov. 11, 2012, while working full time in Long Island City.
