Food services firm to lay off more than 400 after losing UAlbany contract to competitor

Rye Brook-based Chartwells will start laying off the first of the 471 employees who work at the college on April 23, and will wrap up operations there on June 30, according to a notice filed today with New York's Department of Labor.
