New Yorkers No Longer Have to Pay 57 State Fees

As a part of the new State Budget, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has announced the repeal of 57 nuisance fees that he believes will eliminate excess bureaucracy and save local businesses and individuals nearly $3 million per year. These nuisance fees created unnecessary red tape and placed an undue burden on businesses, while at the same time resulted in no significant revenues for the state This action will eliminate unnecessary costs and paperwork, helping to allow these businesses to reinvest and grow in New York.
