A Negative factor lawsuit: Interim Superintendent Wayne Eads asked the Greeley-Evans School District 6 Board of Education whether it wanted to support, in the form of per-pupil spending, a lawsuit against the State of Colorado's so-called "negative factor." The suit, filed this past June, argues the negative factor violates Amendment 23, which requires school funding to increase by inflation and enrollment growth every year.
