Lawsuit Abuse Problematic for Businesses in California

Kim Stone, Civil Justice Association of California president, says many of these suits are filed against businesses that violate the Americans With Disabilities Act. "Many of these lawyers file hundreds of lawsuits over a short period of time, many times without even having visited the businesses themselves, and then they settle for only money," Stone said.
