Health Care Employers' Safety Records Will Soon Become Publicly Available

On November 8, 2013, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration published a proposed rule titled "Improve Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses" . [1] Under the Proposed Rule, employers would be required to regularly and electronically submit to OSHA the data regarding workplace injuries and illnesses that many employers currently keep in a physical log.
