Republicans Seek to Delay Social Security Nominee's Confirmation

Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee said they'll try to stall confirmation of the president's nominee to lead the Social Security Administration. The Senate Finance Committee in September voted 22-2 to advance the nomination of Carolyn Colvin, President Barack Obama 's nominee and the acting Social Security commissioner.
