Mayor seeks ethical opinion regarding councilmen who work for city

Mayor Larry Forsythe said he will seek the opinion of the West Virginia Ethics Commission on an issue involving Chester City Councilmen who also work for the city. The issue reared its head again at Monday's city council meeting, when Ward 3 Councilman Mike Dotson said he should have been permitted Nov. 17 to join in the deliberations on year-end performance awards for employees.
