The Equal Employment Opportunities Commission has determined that a West Hartford nursing home refused to give an employee health insurance for her spouse on account of their sex. The ruling by the EOCC determined that Brookdale Senior Living denied Kerry Considine the right to put her wife, Renee, onto her employer-provided health plan.
