Tipped workers' mimimum wage testimony to be heard

Syracuse will be put in the spotlight on Friday when a state board will hear testimony as part of the latest push for higher pay in the food industry. While the sporadic demonstrations by minimum-wage workers die down a bit, a concentrated effort for a new minimum wage for restaurant servers, busboys and other tipped workers is taking center stage.
