Pittsburgh Public Schools reaches settlements with principal, teacher

Pittsburgh Public Schools today released information on settlements with two former employees, one a Pittsburgh Westinghouse 6-12 principal who was rated unsatisfactory and the other a welding teacher who alleged sex discrimination and retaliation. In the Westinghouse case, the district is paying $85,000, including $76,563, less payroll taxes and deduction, to Alexander Herring Sr. and $8,437 in legal fees payable to his attorney Edward A. Olds.
