Montgomery County plans to get more snow off of sidewalks after winter storms

When snow falls, Montgomery County deploys a fleet of plows that cover about 5,000 miles of roads. Private property owners are required to clear sidewalks adjacent to their land no later than 24 hours after the end of what officials like to call a "storm event."
