State awarded $897K grant for job training

The state Department of Labor and Industrial Relations has received an $897,420 Job-Driven National Emergency Grant to help create or expand employer partnerships that provide opportunities for on-the-job training, registered apprenticeships or other occupational training resulting in an industry-recognized credential.
