Shickshinny council postpones decision on police coverage

At the end of a two-hour meeting punctuated by shouting, accusations and general rowdiness, council voted unanimously to table until the work session later this month further talks on whether to hire their own officers, contract with neighboring Salem Township to provide police services or do neither and let the state police take over coverage.
