Final Rule Limits Health Enrollment Wait to 90 Days

On Feb. 20, 2014, the Obama administration issued a final rule under the Affordable Care Act limiting to no more than 90 days the waiting period that can be imposed before health coverage becomes effective for new employees who are otherwise eligible to receive coverage under their employer's plan.
