Madison County unemployment rate increases slightly in October to 5.7 percent

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama - The unemployment rate in Madison County jumped last month to 5.7 percent, a slight uptick from the revised 5.6 percent September joblessness rate but down from 5.8 percent in August, the Alabama Department of Labor reports.
