Court rules New York AG can proceed with $300M suit against Sprint

In a ruling that could pave the way for New York state to recoup millions in lost sales tax revenue, a judge denied an effort by Sprint-Nextel Corporation to dismiss a tax fraud lawsuit seeking to recoup three times the more than $100 million dollars in taxes owed to New York state and local governments since 2005, plus penalties.
