Legal action threat speeds repair of Hinds courthouse elevators

The Hinds County Courthouse's aging, malfunctioning elevators will be renovated immediately -- but only after a disabilities rights organization threatened a lawsuit and said it would report safety violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act to the U.S. Department of Justice.
