Providence pedestrian bridge removed

Drivers may have noticed sparks showering down on Providence Road Friday night as workers cut through the fence with a blowtorch on the pedestrian bridge between Douglass High School and the The bridge was removed Saturday morning, after a few-hour delay caused by technical difficulties.
