Employees cheer, employers jeer wage hike

Minimum wage employees in Washington are now earning an extra 15 cents an hour as of January 1 as the wage was bumped up to $9.47, a cost of living increase. According to the Washington Department of Labor and Industries full time minimum wage employees will now make an additional $312 a year.
