Supreme Court agrees to hear Schlichter 401(k) case

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case that St. Louis attorney Jerry Schlichter filed against California utility Edison International regarding its 401 retirement plan. The U.S. Supreme Court will hear an appeal of a decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit that found that companies were protected from litigation that related to investment decisions made more than six years before the suit was filed, the New York Times reports.
