Pennsylvania jobless rate 5.7 percent in September

Pennsylvania's unemployment rate dropped 1/10th of a percentage point in September, to 5.7 percent, from the previous month. That's 0.2 percentage point below the U.S. rate of 5.9 percent, according to a report released Friday by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry .
