Owner pays workers after probe

Restaurant owner Nicholas Tokles has paid 69 employees at four Toledo-area eateries a total of $38,425 in back wages after an investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division. The investigation found violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act's minimimum wage, overtime, and record-keeping provisions at the four restaurants - Nick & Jimmy's Bar and Grill, Jimmy's North, Basin St. Grille, and the Village Inn.
