Community meets on Bees Creek project

For $2.9 million, M.B. Khan Construction plans to turn a community eyesore into a professional-looking source of pride. The Columbia-based company intends to clean up the 32-acre Bees Creek property in Ridgeland, which was burned in a 2008 fire and shut down by the fire department in 2011 for being a hazard.
