Corpus Christi Police academy starts Monday with the most ever 12 women

Federal officials conducted an investigation in 2009 and filed a complaint in July alleging that the city violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and challenged the city's entrance exams as being discriminatory against women.
